  • On Sunday, 12th March ,2023, the Old Girls of Trinity College Nabbingo animated mass at the College.
Despite the pouring rains, the Old Girls across the years turned up in huge numbers to grace this celebration.

The occasion was graced by several dignitaries, including the main celebrant, Rev.Dr.Fr. Nicholas Kiruma, the Chairperson Board of Governors, Rev.Fr.Dr Joseph Mary Ssebunya, Members of the Board of Governors and PTA, Dr. Rosemary Byanyima, ED Mulago National Referal Hospital, Dr. Cecilia Nawavvu, the Program Manager, Mulago Mbarara Joint AIDS Program, Madame Dorothy Matovu and Owek. Kikomeko Choltilda Nakate, both past Headmistresses of Trinity College Nabbingo.

The Old Girls participated in leading the mass through the choir, offertory dance, offering petitions, and taking readings.
They also gifted the school chaplaincy with vestments.

The Guest of Honor, an old girl herself, Mrs.Joyce Nalunga Birimumaaso gave a powerful address to the students.

She encouraged the students to study hard and to embrace all situations, as hard situations are preparing one for a great tomorrow.

She advised them to avoid competing with anyone at school, but compete with oneself to be better, and further encouraged the students to leave everyone at their level, but build synergies, as life is about relationships, and everyone you meet is a point of connection.

Students who excelled in the recently released National Exams were also awarded. The Headmistress, Mrs Lwanga Immaculate, inspired the students that it doesn't matter at what level you are, you can always excel. These best students hadn't joined Nabbingo with flying colors but look at what they managed to achieve.

The Trinity College Nabbingo Old Girls' Association President, Mrs Marie Solome Nassiwa Lubowa, re-echoed hard work as a key to success.

The day was crowned with dancing from the school MDD club, a march past by the students, and a sumptuous luncheon.
Indeed it was a day well spent !
